Hello World! You can see here in this video that while my speech is uncontrolled I'm able to sound almost normal after taking an Ambien. On Nov. 30, 2009, I had a wisdom tooth extracted from the upper rear left. Soon after I noticed clicking in my jaw which was found to be TMJ displacement, but also I was slurring slightly. A neurologist suspected trigeminal and/or sublingual nerve damage. By July 2010 my speech had become so impaired that I could no longer do voiceovers. I'd been doing voiceovers full-time since 1986. I've voiced for Nissan, Lenscrafters, Disneyworld, and literally thousands of commercials around the world under my theatrical name Tom Cassidy. I'm asking for your help. If you know of someone who might have the curiosity and skill to help solve this problem please send them my way. I'm learning sign language to help communicate, but I want to speak again.
