Nissan has a new director and chief marketing manager, Fred Deperez, who previously held marketing positions with Chrysler. In his new role, Deperez will be responsible for leading lifecycle product marketing efforts supporting Nissan's Versa, Sentra, Cube, Juke and Quest models.
Before joining the ranks at Nissan, Deperez was responsible for marketing at Dodge. He also held leadership posts in corporate brand strategy, and global sales and product training as well as global communications for Jeep.
"Fred brings terrific experience in automotive marketing to his new role," said Jon Brancheau, vice president, Nissan Marketing. "He understands how to bring all the pieces of the marketing mix together to drive growth, and we're excited about the impact he'll have on several of Nissan's most critical core models."
Deperez's new role at Nissan will be effective on October 3.
