Nissan is bringing test drives of the Nissan Leaf to 26 cities across the United States to get consumers acquainted with the all-electric, no emissions car. Dubbed the “Drive Electric Tour,” the event kicked off in Long Island, N.Y., on the heels of the Leaf achieving the milestone of 4,000 U.S. deliveries.

The tour originally started last fall due to the growing enthusiasm for the innovative Leaf. The Nissan EV currently is available in Arizona, California, Hawaii, Tennessee, Texas, Oregon and Washington, with additional markets launching later this year.

The Drive Electric Tour will give consumers the chance to get behind the wheel of the Leaf and learn more about the technology within the vehicle. Current Leaf owners are also invited to take part in the your and share their experiences of living with an electric vehicle.
