All-Electric Nissan Leaf Heads To Norway

Nissan is steadily bringing its all-electric Leaf to new markets around the world. The latest market for the award-winning, zero-emission car is Norway.

The Leaf will go on sale in Norway this autumn, making Norway the ninth market in Europe to launch the Leaf. When it reaches showrooms, the Leaf will be priced from 255,000 NOK, which is about the same as a regular compact family hatchback. But thanks to the Leaf's electric powertrain, Nissan says it will have much lower running costs than other vehicles of its size.

Running costs in Norway are estimated at less than 12 NOK per 100 km. The price includes the battery, a five-year subscription to the unique telematic service, and EV specific roadside assistance. To battle the extreme Nordic climate, Leafs in this market will be equipped with the following:

  • heated front seats
  • heated rear seats
  • heated mirrors
  • heated steering wheel
  • battery heating system

Guillaume Cartier, Managing Director, Nissan Nordic Europe said, “We are confident Nissan LEAF with its family-sized practicality, zero emission tailpipe and ultra-low running costs will appeal to customers in Norway, just like it has appealed to thousands of other customers around the world.”
